Today was a fun day filled with many auditions. I had a business meeting and then took my friend Sarah to “the Voice” auditions at navy pier in Chicago, she got a call back so it’s great news!
I watched some pirates dance and made a smart ass remark. One greasy pirate said “argh” can yet do better. So I did twenty minutes of jaw dropping magic. I guess the pirate entertainment didn’t expect to have a local Chicago award winning magician in the crowd. I gave away some business cards to the crowd and apologized.
I didn’t see a reason to do such a kid show. You can treat kids as adults and show good magic or entertainment and they respond as adults. This magician doesn’t do many kids shows, however I will rock a family show and destroy all in attendance!
A magician has to be ready to do at least twenty minutes, and at navy pier in Chicago I was ready! The above pics show the audience I had. They cheered really loud!
